In which house is it relevant to install SolarFlex?
SolarFlex works in all households and buildings which have a separate hot water heater/boiler/geyser. SolarFlex works on both electrical heated and LPG/gas-powered heaters. Also bio-fuel powered heaters, e.g. wood or pellets works perfectly with SolarFlex. This means that you do not need to fire the heater during summertime, saving on both the hassle, raw material and increasing the life-span of the heater.
How large tank do I need?
It depends on the size of your family and your hot water usage. SolarFlex works with any size of heater/boiler. Contact us if you have questions around tank size and comfort level.
How is the product tested?
SolarFlex is tested in a laboratory environment at LTH during several seasons and where we also had the opportunity to simulate various kinds of flows. Prototypes have been running in real applications with good results.
What is the product's biggest benefits?
Benefits of this product can easily be summarized in three points:
- Installation costs are reduced by 30-40 % for a Solar thermal system, compared to traditional systems
- The effect of the product in terms of exploited energy is at least as well as existing products on the market.
